Nestled between Lake Champlain, Jay Peak and the Canadian border in the northwest corner of Vermont, Franklin County is a region steeped in agricultural heritage, many historic traditions and four seasons of iconic natural beauty.
The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Vermont provides leadership in sustaining and improving the business environment for those engaged in life underwriting and financial services. The mission is advanced through legislative involvement, community involvement, professional development, and organizational assistance to support the growth and development of the local life underwriter associations and its members.
Wells River Action Program (WRAP)
The mission of Wells River Action Program (WRAP) is to enhance the quality of life in Wells River Village and its immediately surrounding villages and towns by providing affordable and accessible housing, supporting and developing business and economic development, preserving the rural and historic character and ambiance of Wells River Village and establishing avenues of cooperation with other organizations and governmental agencies. Membership in WRAP is open to all who are interested in improving and preserving Wells River Area whether or not they reside in Wells River.

Welcome to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vermont, the “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children seeking treatment at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. It is our aim to be a refuge for families experiencing the stress and anguish of their loved one’s illness. Whether for a short stay, or for weeks at a time, we provide families with the comforts of home as well as the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers.
